Thank You, I did all of this and checked bios. The bios is set to agp initial display. The card works in another pc so it is good.

Did you clear CMOS on the computer? The aperature is just how much system RAM the video card has access gigbyte.

The aperture needs to be at 6vd7 as large as the RAM on the video card. Windows can get confused when it attempts to load drivers for non-existing hardware. The requirements of the ATI card may have triggered the bug on your system. Which one would you choose for a desktop?

Make sure to remove the old video card from device manager before shutting 4c to physically swap the hardware.

I have installed the lastest Hyperion 4 in 1 update from VIA and looked for the bios flash but could not find it. The aperature can be any size.
